Euro 2000 was a thing of wonder for innumerable reasons; Francesco Totti's panenka in the semi-final shootout against the Netherlands, Jaap Stam's abysmal effort in the same shootout, Zinedine Zidane was at the peak of his powers and he and his France teammates won the tournament in the most dramatic fashion of all time - a last minute Sylvain Wiltord equaliser followed by a David Trezeguet golden goal to break Italian hearts. Oh, and the selection of kits on display was extraordinary.
The tournament, co-hosted by the Netherlands and Belgium was the advent of the skin tight football shirt, popularised by Kappa with their now iconic effort for the Italian national team. Adidas equally knocked it out of the park with their efforts for France and Spain, while Nike's Portugal and Netherlands strips have also stood the test of time.
To talk us through the finest kits that were on display throughout the Summer of 2000, the lads at Classic Football Shirts have put together this handy video which also encourages you to have your say on which was the best kit of one of the most memorable international tournaments of all time.
