Karim Benzema has been absolutely unplayable this year, and he is continuing to produce the ‘wow’ moments that makes him everyone’s choice to win this year’s prestigious Ballon D’Or award.
Benzema broke Manchester City hearts just over a week ago when his penalty in extra time sent Carlo Ancelotti’s side into yet another Champions League final.
As Pep Guardiola chases his first Champions League title at City, Benzema now has a chance to win his fifth with the Spanish giants.
Despite the final being just 15 days away and the La Liga title already secured, Ancelotti did not hold back on his team selection for Thursday match against bottom of the table Levante.

With the likes of Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde on the pitch, it was Benzema who yet again stole the show.
A first half goal for the Frenchman took him to a total of 323 goals for Los Blancos, putting him in equal second place with Raul in Madrid’s all time goal scoring chart.
The Benzema show reached its climax in the second half, as he showed his best impression of former Madrid and Brazil legend, Ronaldo Nazario, who was famed for his dancing feet and calmness when facing the goalkeeper in one on one situations.
Benzema picked up a defence splitting pass from Modric into his stride to go one on one with the Levante keeper Daniel Cardenas, the striker showed tremendous skill and composure to calmly go around Cardenas and set up an easy tap in for Vinicius to score.
