Gucci Xbox Consoles Are A Thing And They Cost $10,000

Gucci Xbox Consoles Are A Thing And They Cost $10,000

Gucci and Xbox collaborated for a very expensive console.

If playing FIFA on your normal Xbox isn't for you, an incredibly boujie option was made available in November 2021.

Gucci and Xbox collaborated together on an expensive Series X console that was released but with low availability due to it being in limited edition.

The piece of kit, dripping with double G's and the Rhombi design first brought in back in the 1930's, set customers back a whopping $10,000.

But it does come with a special carry case, again with classic Gucci pattern, as well as two unique controllers with a red and blue stripe.

A subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is also included.

The product was brought on 17 November to mark Xbox's 20th anniversary.

The information section on the Gucci website reads: "Inside a vintage gaming space, DJ Emerald Rose Lewis and music artist Kojey Radical—both gamers, feature in a special video and images created in collaboration with HYPEBEAST to present the Xbox by Gucci.

"The collaboration consists of 100 numbered sets, each comprising a black Xbox Series X console laser-engraved with the GG pattern, two wireless controllers featuring the Web stripe, complemented by a hard case inspired by Gucci’s archival luggage.

"On the bottom of the case sit the words “GOOD GAME,” a motto that recalls the happy coincidence that GG stands for the signature motif in Gucci’s decorative vocabulary—House founder Guccio Gucci’s initials—but also as the acronym of this formula, used sportingly by gamers as a way of signing off at the end of online multiplayer contests."

Only 100 were made but despite the steep price, they sold out in rapid time. They may well still be floating about but anyone wanting to get one now will likely have to pay a lot more than the original sum.

You just know that Allan Saint-Maximin, the 'vibiest' footballer in the Premier League, definitely copped one.

We're now waiting for Louis Vuitton to team up with PlayStation for a special release.
