EA FC Fan's Genius Hack to make Players Run Faster

An EA Sports FC 26 player has shared a trick on how to get your players running faster on the new game.

An EA Sports FC 26 player has shared a clever hack on how to make players run faster.

The new game, the latest in the popular franchise, was released worldwide on all available consoles last month and has seen a number of changes from the previous iteration.

This year, Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe is the fastest player on the game with an electric 97 pace, with Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi following behind in second place with 96.

Though technical attributes are still important, one cannot overlook the need to have a bit of pace in your side and one gamer has come up with a method to maximise that very trait.

On X, @FendyMerland, who has 22,000 followers on the app, posted a brief video tutorial showing fans how to get their players to run that little bit quicker with the ball.

The clip, which has garnered 197,000 views, sees Manchester City speedster Jeremy Doku darting down the wing at a frightening pace.

But while pressing R2 and RT on a respective controller is typically the way to get a player to sprint, Fendy Merland recommends pressing R2 before the player touches the ball, releasing and then repeating the step.

"In the video you can see how Dokus rapid activates every time and he gets a boost after pressing R2. Works best with quick step or rapid as a playstyle . With + even better."

The user said the trick is "100% faster" when someone claimed it was merely an illusion. When someone asked for advice on how to make Anthony Gordon to move faster, they urged the player to "try the method" as "he will be way quicker"

Palmer, who has his own celebration in the game, wasn't happy with the performance of goalkeepers and when working with EA, he told them his thoughts.

Speaking at a showcase event in Vancouver at EA's headquarters, Sam Rivera, a senior producer on the game said: “We were working with Cole a few months ago on a shoot and when asked about improvements he’d like to see in the game, he had one comment. ‘Make goalkeepers more intelligent’.

Following Palmer's instructions, EA made a conscious effort to ensure that their AI goalkeepers to make more more realistic decisions and are generally to score past.

Gameplay producer Paul Parsons added: "Expect goalkeepers to be smarter and more consistent in FC26. We’re using machine learning to train them in hundreds of thousands of in game situations, to find the best positioning. Including them little micro steps world class keepers use to close the angle.”
