EA have confirmed they are launching a huge new feature, which could come to EA FC soon.

The new edition of the EA FC series was released on September 27. Fans have already been able to find glitches with the latest edition in the series of the popular game but they could soon be in for a treat.

Several new features were introduced coming to the EA FC 25 game, including Rush mode.

Rush is a new fast-paced five-vs-five mode, and acts as a replacement for its predecessor Volta.

In Rush, matches are seven minutes long with no half-time, and each game begins with a race to the ball to get the first possession of the game.

This year’s version of the game has also seen the introduction of Live Start Points in EA FC 25 career mode.

The feature allows you to use teams at the point where they have been impacted by variables such as suspension, injuries or managerial sackings.

Users also have the option to manage in the top five women’s leagues. Legends can also be added to sides to play alongside current players.

The game is also accompanied by a web app which allows players to access their Ultimate Team side on their phone.

Even the soundtrack has been updated. 117 songs can be heard on this year’s game, with genres ranging from rap to Afrobeats.

Billie Eilish, Glass Animals and Coldplay, as well as Nia Archives, Kasabian, FKA Twigs, Charli xcx and Jack White are all featured.

However, fans could see an even bigger update in future according to EA. And it's one that they've waited years for.

“Our teams are hard at work on a couple of new projects,” EA president Cam Weber explained in a video that emerged online.

“They’re [EA's team] building unique, new experiences. [And] virtual open world playground space, where you, your friends and the fan community can come together to experience avatar-based collective play – both competitive and casual.

“These new experiences will have creativity, connection, self-expression and emergent gameplay at the forefront.

“Now we are talking about two distinctly different experiences for FC [25] and our American football franchises.

“And while we’re not ready to share more just yet, we are incredibly excited to release these new experiences into our ecosystems in the years ahead.”

Weber did not elaborate on the fine details of the feature. But fans could not help but give their opinion social media.

One said: “This will be insane.”

A second was less positive and added: “This is going to be historically garbage.”

While a third was dubious over how much of a success it would be, saying: “Dudes that can’t maintain servers think they have the minerals for open world.”
