It feels like we've done about 15 different articles on the FIFA 18 ratings causing a big debate, but don't worry, there's another one coming your way.
The latest one revolves around Real Madrid and Croatia midfield metronome Luka Modric, who exudes consistency and is quite possibly the best midfielder in world football.

Yet despite his undeniable qualities and the fact he's just played a fundamental role in a sensational Real Madrid side that won La Liga and the Champions League under Zinedine Zidane last season, Modric's overall rating has remained 89, as it was last season.
He may be the 12th best player on the game, but it is incredibly strange for the former Spurs man handed the very same overall rating, as well as more or less the same statistics he boasted last time out. Dribbling, passing and shooting ratings are all unchanged, with 89, 86 and 74 respectively, though his pace has gone down one from 74 to 73.

Modric had two upgraded cards in FIFA 17 yet no improvement has been made in terms of his card. As good as his central midfield partner Toni Kroos was last term, where he had two in-forms, a TOTY and a La Liga TOTS card, to say the German is one rating better than his club colleague, which he is as per the leaked ratings which have emerged online, seems a bit unfair.
Here's how fans have been reacting:
