FIFA 18 is released worldwide tomorrow and it's certainly not a cheap purchase. The 'Ronaldo Edition' and 'Icon Edition' have both been released already for those who pre-ordered and though you get several brilliant benefits, you're looking at upwards of £70.00. and £80.00 respectively. And you'll most likely have to pay at least £50.00 for the standard version.

But there is a way of getting the game for free, without utilising the good old "five-finger discount". It's just that there's probably quite a slim criteria.

As per Shortlist, anyone who shares the name with 'The Journey' star Alex Hunter is eligible to get the game for free off GAME.

Hunter made his debut last year in FIFA 17, with the mode chronicling the footballing ventures of the 17-year old rookie from Clapham, London, who takes part in an exit trial along with his mate Gareth Walker, gets a professional contract at a Premier League and is on his way to stardom. Players had the power to control Hunter and take his career to the next level - and if all goes well, the story ends with him scoring in the FA Cup final against his former best friend Walker, who has signed for a rival club.

The next chapter of Hunter's career comes in the new and improved 'The Journey: Hunter Returns' and it promises to be bigger and better than last year, with more drama, more real-life characters and more options and possibilities than the inaugural mode.

Catherine Hunter, Jim Hunter, Harold Walker, Gareth Walker, Danny Williams and more were all introduced a year ago, but this year sees involvement from household names Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand, Thierry Henry, Gyasi Zardes, Dele Alli, Antoine Griezmann, Thomas Muller and NBA basketballer James Harden to name a few.

And if your name is Alex Hunter, or close to it (Alexander Hunter and Alexandra Hunter) will do the trick, GAME are more than happy to give you a copy of FIFA 18 free of charge.

You'll need to have proof that your name is indeed the same as the fictional star, but it's fairly straightforward. Simply send an email to [email protected] with all the important details such as your full name and address as well as relevant scanned form of identification (birth certificate, passport, driving licence etc).

Following that, GAME will then notify you of the nearest store to your doorstep and you'll be allowed to get your hands on FIFA 18 for absolutely nothing. The offer lasts from September 29 till October 3, so if you happen to be called Alex Hunter, a variant of that name, or you fancy changing your name solely for the purpose of getting
