If Manchester United fans didn't exactly love Marouane Fellaini before tonight they may well hate him after his ridiculous stupid red card just minutes before the end of the Manchester derby.
At best Fellaini splits opinion, his absolute shambles of a transfer summed up everything dreadful in the short but hideous David Moyes era at Old Trafford.
For Louis van Gaal he became an important player, especially during the best period of the Dutchman's time in charge at United, the back end of the first season.

Under Jose Mourinho he's had a bit of a mixed season.

Back in December the Belgian central midfielder cost his side a win against his former club Everton when he gave away a silly late penalty.

Since then he's rebuilt his reputation with the fans somewhat and the manager had been quite a big fan, but he may have ruined all that tonight.
In the space of about a minute Fellaini earned himself a yellow card and then a straight red for a ridiculous coming together with Sergio Aguero.
Though the Argentine made the most of a 'headbutt' by Fellaini it most definitely was a sending off
Just look at Yaya's reaction:

In the end he was very lucky that his aberration didn't cost United as the players left on the pitch were able to stick it out for a 0-0 draw.
