West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has released inspiring footage of his recovery following a horrific car crash that left him severely injured.
In early December, Jamaican international Antonio was involved in a terrifying car crash while driving his Ferrari in Epping, Essex while on the the way home from West Ham's training ground.
The crash led to the striker being airlifted to a London hospital, where he quickly underwent surgery to a broken leg, and put an end to his 2024/25 season.

Since then, the 35-year-old has been undergoing the long road to recovery and back to full fitness, while sharing some details on social media.
And now, Antonio has released a montage video on his Instagram page showing his road to recovery so far, and it's truly inspiring.

The video begins by showing footage of the wreckage before cutting to show Antonio in a hospital bed immediately after the crash.

It then shows the beginning of his rehabilitation journey, as he is seen taking his first steps since the crash with the assistance of a walking frame and a group of nurses.
Several of Antonio's West Ham teammates are then seen visiting him in hospital, including club captain Jarrod Bowen.
Finally, the video shows various clips of Antonio continuing his clearly painful recovery at the Hammers' training ground and in the gym.
Antonio made his emotional return to London Stadium for West Ham's 1-0 defeat to Newcastle in March and his since spoken out about how the support from fans since the crash helped him with his recovery.

He is yet to make another appearance on the pitch, but is expected to be back and ready to start when the season gets back underway in August.
However, with his current contract with West Ham set to expire at the end of the month, it remains unclear if his next appearance will be in claret and blue or if he will sign a deal elsewhere this summer.
Antonio is West Ham's all-time top Premier League scorer, netting 83 goals across 323 appearances since his arrival in September 2015.
