Ryan Reynolds has major rule his Wrexham players must abide by - but one star keeps breaking it

One player keeps breaking Ryan Reynolds' major rule at Wrexham.

Ryan Reynolds has implemented a major rule at Wrexham that the squad must abide by - but ONE player keeps breaking it.

Reynolds and fellow Hollywood A-lister Rob McElhenney have transformed the fortunes of Wrexham following their takeover back in 2020.

They've secured back-to-back promotions, having finished in second place in League Two this season.

The Welsh outfit have enjoyed another stellar campaign following their National League triumph in the 2022/23 season.

Reynolds has had a hands-on approach and has a major rule the players must follow.

Players must have a shirt on every time they see or greet his wife Blake Lively.

However, Ollie Palmer, who joined Wrexham from AFC Wimbledon in January 2022 and has scored 41 goals across all competitions since his arrival, is a repeat offender and continues to break Reynolds' rule.

On the Fearless in Devotion -Wrexham AFC Podcast, the Deadpool and Wolverine actor said: "Every time we’ve come as a family and stuff, we’ll walk down to the locker room, and Ollie’s the first guy that walks out of that dressing room completely shirtless to have a conversation with my wife."

He added: "I'm always like, 'Ollie, put a f**king shirt on and come back out like a gentleman'."

Reynolds is loved and respected around Wrexham and Palmer, who missed a portion of the season through injury, revealed the 47-year-old's touching gesture as he was kept on the sidelines.

"I got an injury during the season and then I couldn’t get back in the team for four or five weeks," he revealed.

"You don’t hear from anyone when you’re not playing. You hear from everyone when you’re winning, scoring. This was this season; you’ll see it in the latest series.

"In an amongst everyone, one person that did reach out about three weeks in saying 'keep going, I can’t wait to see you back out there', was Ryan.

"It means a lot, because think about that where you’re going through the bad times and people still reach out."
