PSG Fans Set Off Fireworks At Barcelona Team Hotel At 5am, One Was Arrested

A Paris Saint-Germain fan was arrested for renting a room in the same hotel as Barcelona's team - with other supporters setting off fireworks outside at 5am.

The Catalan giants are currently in Paris for the second leg of their Champions League last 16 clash, which PSG lead 4-1.

Players are staying in the French capital and were woken by massive firework explosions early this morning.

It begun at around 4am and it's been reported by RMC per GFFN that the hotel fire alarm went off at around 5am. Police then took one member of the party down to the station.

RFC claim: "A PSG fan rented a hotel room where the Barcelona squad was staying last night & after fireworks were set off by other PSG fans at 04:00 in an attempt to disrupt their sleep, he set off the hotel fire alarm at 05:00.

"He was taken to the local police station."

The unnamed fan is said to have spent five hours in police custody before being released on Wednesday morning.

Barcelona fans attempted the same trick on PSG's squad during the first leg last month and judging by the scoreline, it didn't work.

Ultras were spotted on the streets of Paris on Sunday holding up different banners while lighting flares.

And one of the banners included the message "Shakira a La Jonquera," which is referencing a town on the French-Spanish border that has a notorious reputation for prostitution.

Do you think Barcelona can pull off the most unlikely comeback this evening?
