Phil Jones Bizarrely Names Dimitar Berbatov In Defence For His Five-A-Side Team

Phil Jones has named his dream Manchester United five-a-side team and put Dimitar Berbatov in defence.
The Bulgarian spent four years at United and became a cult hero for his stylish performances at the top of the pitch.

But Jones opted to select him in defence for his five-a-side game and suggested a very specific season why.
The 27-year-old told Goal last year:
"I'll go David [De Gea in goal] no brainer.
"Five-a-side so, do you know what? I'm going to be stupid here. I'm going to put Berba there. Berbatov.
"Berba used to annoy me in training, every single training session. He used to play at centre-half and when I said to him 'no, the manager asked me to play there', he was like 'no, go somewhere else'.
"He was unbelievable. I'll put Berba there."
He also added United legend Nemanja Vidic into defence and credited his blocking ability.

"And I'll put... I'll put Vida [Vidic] in there as well just because he throws himself at everything."
Jones' midfield and attacking options are the duo of Paul Scholes and Wayne Rooney.
"Then I'm going to go with Scholesy [Scholes], and I've got to go Wazza [Rooney]."
Scholes and Rooney are two of the club's greatest players and would certainly strike fear into any side.
He also joked with the publication that he gets sent pictures of his own face by his mates in a WhatsApp chat - and he's learned to just accept it.
"It's banter, my mates banter me all the time about it," he explained.

"It is what it is. I'm not too fussed about that either. My mates send me pictures every single night on the Whatsapp group taking the mick out of me. It's banter, it is what it is. It doesn't bother me."
Jones has featured eight times for United but only twice in the Premier League.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted for new captain Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof as his preferred central defence partnership.

'The Red Devils' are currently ninth in the Premier League and face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening.
January loan signing Odion Ighalo could be in line to make his debut after joining on Deadline Day.
