Footage of FIFA 21 on next-gen has been released online with brand new camera angles and animations making it incredibly immersive.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of EA Sports' hit franchise drops on Friday December 4 and some have managed to get the game early.

A new 'game cam' has been introduced which allows for a better view of all the action and players after scoring a goal.

Late game winners also see a huge upgrade, with your entire team mobbing the goal scorer near the corner flag.

Fans in the stadium move more realistically and jump for joy at seeing their team go ahead.

The Frostbite engine looks to be running at full power and the detail on game faces is much improved.

On the PS5, adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller pulse when players are tired late on in a game.

It makes it harder to run with them and encourages substitutions at key moments.

Quicker load times are promised as is a deeper connection with players.

A boost in graphics will allow Real Player Motion Technology to create more realistic scenarios when jostling for ball possession.

"We're excited to deliver a new level of authenticity that will immerse players in the game like never before when they step out onto the virtual pitch in FIFA 21," said Aaron McHardy, Executive Producer of FIFA.

"With next level immersive experiences that truly bring the most recognizable stadiums and professional players to life, the technology behind these next generation consoles opens up a world of possibilities for how players will experience the world's game this year and into the future."

David Beckham features on the game's cover after having been an ambassador for rival franchise Pro Evolution Soccer in the past.
