Gareth Bale Really Didn't Want To Celebrate Real Madrid's La Liga Title Win

Gareth Bale looked like he wanted to be anywhere else in the world during Real Madrid's La Liga celebrations last night.

Zinedine Zidane's side were crowned champions for the 34th time after a 2-1 victory over Villarreal while second place Barcelona fell to a 2-1 defeat against Osasuna.

Players celebrated their triumph at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, but Bale continued his post-lockdown trend of looking as disinterested as possible.

One key moment saw captain Sergio Ramos lead the team in song with the trophy - with the 31-year-old stood off to the side.

Other footage has also surfaced showing just how uncomfortable he looked through the whole ordeal.

Fans have reacted to the Welshman's half-hearted celebrations and it's fair to say everybody found them awkward.

The former Tottenham Hotspur winger has started just 12 games in La Liga this season and has made two substitute appearances since football's return last month.

Bale didn't feature at all again last night as 'Los Blancos' sealed the title with one game to spare.

Karim Benzema opened the scoring inside half an hour before netting a penalty in the second half.

The penalty did come with controversy however as Ramos originally tried his hand at the Johan Cruyff technique with the Frenchman.

Instead of smashing the spot-kick or even attempting a Panenka, the Spaniard touched the ball forward to Benzema who slotted home his second goal of the game.

However, the Real No.9 had actually encroached into the area too early and the penalty had to be retaken, with Benzema then converted.
