AZ Alkmaar defender Pantelis Hatzidiakos sickeningly lost his front teeth following a challenge from PSV striker Konstantinos Mitroglou this afternoon.
The centre-back leaped for the ball against Mitroglou and unfortunately found himself on the receiving end of the former Fulham man's elbow.
However, he likely didn't expect to lose his two front teeth following the challenge.
Check out the clip below.

It was clearly accidental from Mitroglou and he likely didn't mean to knock out his international compatriots front teeth but it made for a grim visual.
A zoom-in on the footage will show the 22-year-old's teeth fall to the ground before he rolls around in agony.
The AZ medical staff were on hand to provide relief.
However, Hatzidiakos probably didn't expect a bag for his loose teeth on the Philips Stadium turf.
The game itself ended up being a big statement win for Alkmaar who ran out 4-0 winners away from home.
The Dutch outfit are currently second in the Eredivise and have also held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw in the Europa League this season.
Their young side is capturing the imagination in Holland and the convincing win today puts them in a great position to be the best of the rest.

Ajax are top by six points and look likely to retain their title this season.
18-year-old Myron Boadu made a name for himself this afternoon after becoming the youngest player to score 2 goals in an away game for AZ.

However, you do have to wonder if Hatzidiakos would trade away today's result if it meant he kept his two front teeth.
