Image Of The Injuries Kheira Hamraoui Suffered After Being Dragged Out A Car Emerges Online

Paris Saint-Germain star Kheira Hamraoui has detailed the horrific incident which saw her dragged from a car and assaulted with an iron bar.

It was alleged earlier this week that Hamraoui had been attacked in a car being driven by teammate Aminata Diallo who plays in the same position.

Diallo was arrested on suspicion of organising the attack but she's since been released and publicly denied all allegations.

L'Equipe have now revealed more disturbing details and how the entire attack took place.

Diallo drove Hamraoui and teammate Sakina Karchaoui to and from a team meal in a car provided by the club - with Karchaoui being dropped off prior to the attack.

Hamraoui told police: "My attacker hit me with an iron bar several times. I saw that he was mainly targeting my legs and I was trying to protect myself with my hands.

"At that time, I didn't see a weapon. They immediately start yelling: "Open the door! Open the door!" The one on my side grabbed me and pulled me out of the vehicle.

"Before, he grabbed a rectangular iron bar that he had hidden in his pants or under his sweater.

"He gave me a first blow from the first moments of the assault to force me out of the cabin. I fell on the road and then on the right side of the road.

The 31-year-old says the attackers mainly targeted her legs which forced her into protecting herself with her hands.

"My attacker hit me with an iron bar several times. I saw that he was mainly targeting my legs and I was trying to protect myself with my hands.

"The scene lasted several minutes, it seemed long to me. Aminata told me it was faster. I think the two individuals fled because cars were coming into the street.

"They started running in the direction of the traffic. We quickly lost sight of them. I think a car should be waiting for them nearby."

It saw her miss a Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

Former Barcelona defender Eric Abidal and his wife, Hayet, are set to be questioned over the incident and Hayet is even a suspect.

The SIM card in Hamraoui's phone was under Abidal's name and the pair have a 'special relationship.'

Diallo provided evidence to police following the attack, claiming she heard one of the attackers ask Hamraoui: "So, you sleep with married men?"
