Will the title race come down to the last day?
FOUR teams are currently battling out for that final Champions League space with three points separating Arsenal in fourth and Tottenham in seventh. Both North London sides have games in hand over rivals West Ham and Man United which could be key to securing top European football this season. Arsenal still have to play all three of their top four rivals with two away London derbies and a home game against Rangnick's Man United. Could Arsenal finish in a top four spot for the first time since 2016?
West Ham still need to play bitter rivals Tottenham away in a stadium where they've had a few positive results in the past. Man United still have to travel to Arsenal and Liverpool whilst they host Chelsea towards the end of the season. Tottenham will be hoping they can use their games in hand to cement a place in the Champions League. All four teams have been fourth at some point this season, but this race could go down to the wire.
If the race for top four wasn't close enough, the fight for survival is even closer. Burnley in 19th are just 10 points between Newcastle in 14th. Frank Lampard's Everton are level on points with Watford who occupy the final relegation spot. 9 out of the Toffees last 12 games are against the top 12 meaning they could have a tough ending to the season. With Newcastle in sumptuous form, Brentford's win against Burnley could extend their stay in the Premier League to at least another season.
