Good going!

Leicester City took pretty well to the Champions League. Not everyone manages a 3-0 win in their first game in the competition but like always the Foxes were surprising everyone but themselves. Their debut in the competition was pretty impressive, especially Riyad Mahrez' performance.

The Foxes opened their Champions League campaign against Club Brugge last night and despite their poor early season form in the Premier League they looked pretty impressive against the Belgian champions. Marc Albrighton scored the opener, remember that for future quizzes, before Mahrez scored a brace.

First the Algerian scored a beautiful free-kick before adding the third from the spot, and potentially giving his manager a heart attack at the same time. Those goals have put Mahrez is illustrious company alongside Neymar and Messi in the Fantasy Team of the Week:

Claudio Ranieri admitted after the game that he didn't actually want the Premier League Player of the Year to take the penalty after he'd missed a few in recent months. The Italian actually wanted new boy Islam Slimani to take the spot-kick but it was all good in the end.

The Premier League champions still have to play Copenhagen and Porto in the group, as well as the reverse against Brugge, but three away points should put them on the track to the knock-out stages.

Now if Mahrez could find some Premier League form I might have some more fantasy football points myself.
