On the 28th June 2016, Moussa Dembele joined Scottish Premiership side Celtic on a four year deal, but things could have been very different after revelations about a failed medical have emerged online.
It turns out Dembele was set to join Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in a £6 million deal from Championship side Fulham back in 2016, but according to Get West London, the French striker failed a medical at Tottenham just hours before his transfer was due.
After he failed his medical at Spurs in the 2016 January window, Dembele joined Celtic in the summer which netted Fulham just £500k.

And half of that sum went to Paris Saint Germain following his move back in 2012.
It turns out Celtic have grabbed themselves a bargain. Dembele has been crucial in both league and cup competitions, scoring 27 goals in 41 games this season.
A host of top European clubs have been linked with a move as well, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, among several others, and according to reports in France, the 20-year-old turned down advances from the Premier League side as he 'wishes to remain in the Scottish top flight'.
How much? well, a figure of £30 million is being thrown around as the Frenchman continues to impress under Brendan Rodgers.

Is he worth the cash?
Let us know your thoughts. I can imagine Mauricio Pochettino is kicking himself.
