Manchester City Players Don't Want One Of Their Teammates On Tour

Pep Guardiola's team are currently touring America but one of the players is extremely unpopular amongst the rest of the squad.

Summer tours abroad are all about improving for next season, getting fit after a summer of binge eating, welcoming new players into the squad and team bonding. At Manchester City a majority of the squad is bonding over their hatred of one player.

Manchester City have had their fair share of unlikeables in the dressing room before with Joey Barton, Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy the types to have had issues with teammates for differing reasons.

Of course they aren't the only ones and outside of the world of football we all have colleagues we don't get on with and find ourselves getting annoyed at just for something they said, or just by being there.

Pep Guardiola's side are currently in America and one man is pissing off the rest of his teammates with many questioning why he's even with them. That man is no other than Samir Nasri.

According to the Telegraph a source said of the Frenchman: "Some of the players don't understand why Nasri is even here. He has an arrogant attitude and doesn't appear to care.

"He knows he will be leaving and he's turning out to be someone who shouldn't be on the trip. The club can't wait to get rid of him."

The former Arsenal midfielder spent last season on loan at Sevilla and was never expected back at City but the Spanish side decided against making the move permanent.

With no current interest in the 30 year-old Pep Guardiola decided to take him on the tour in order to put him in the shop window and make sure he stayed fit in case anyone came in for him.

City want just £10 million to get him out of the Etihad having previously wanted £21 million. The Frenchman has doping charges hanging over his head after his dalliance with Drip Doctors last season.

Maybe Guardiola should have kept him in Manchester.
