Injuries have made Gbamin a flop at Goodison Park and his team gear has been spotted for sale on Facebook.

Everton flop Jean-Philippe Gbamin appears to be selling his kit and training gear from the club, despite still being one of their players.

As far as transfer flops go, Gbamin certainly hasn't been the most expensive in Premier League history but he's certainly not lived up to his price tag.

The 27-year-old arrived in England from Mainz in 2019 for £25 million after impressing in Ligue 1 and Bundesliga as a defensive midfielder.

However things have really not worked out well for the Ivory Coast international with a number of injuries meaning he's made just eight appearances in all competitions for the Toffees.

The last 18 months or so have seen the player depart Merseyside on a couple of temporary deals but it's not like things have got much better for him.

In January 2022 he moved to CSKA Moscow on loan and played just 13 times before coming back to Goodison Park that summer.

He has spent the past year out at Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig but only started eight games and is once again an Everton player.

However it doesn't look like the midfielder is expecting to stick around in Liverpool too long, with his match worn kits and training gear seemingly on Facebook for just £300.

"Can’t be Gbamin, it says match worn!", joked one fan.

"Least they won't need cleaning," added a second.

On his constant injuries another said: "He should sell the treatment table that’s attached to his back."

"At least they won’t be sweat stained," stated a fourth on the advantages of buying the lot.

Speaking about the possibility of the player getting a permanent move this summer, another supporter questioned: "Is that £300 for the whole thing including him as a transfer request?"

"It can't be Gbamin, it says 37 shirts. He never played that many games!", exclaimed another.

And on the validity of the post, another stated: "It probably is him because there’s about 3 match worn shirts there and the rest is training gear."
