Bukayo Saka's first post-match interview after Arsenal full debut is going viral, it's so wholesome

Bukayo Saka gave a brilliant post-match interview after impressing on his first start for Arsenal against Qarabag in the Europa League.

Bukayo Saka's first televised post-match interview as an Arsenal player has gone viral again, with fans loving his cool, calm and composed nature throughout.

Back in December 2018, the Ealing-born academy product was handed his full senior start for the Gunners in their Europa League clash against Qarabag, aged just 17.

Ahead of the game, plenty had tipped Saka to go on and become a first-team regular after impressing at youth level.

And the tricky winger lived up to expectations with a superb coming-of-age performance from the left wing. In fact, he almost marked his full debut with a goal and an assist.

After the full-time whistle, Saka was confident enough to speak to the BT Sport cameras, where he admitted to being sent to bed by his parents the night before.

“It is a dream come true,” Saka said. “Ever since I joined the club at the age of eight I always dreamed of playing at the Emirates so for all the coaches and the fans to support me tonight was really good.

"I didn’t start too fast but I grew into the game and that’s what I wanted to do. I started to get past my man and create chances and I could have scored at the end, I don’t know what happened.”

When asked about when he found out about his place in the starting line-up, the teenager added: “It was Wednesday in training. We went through the team and (head coach Unai Emery) called it out and I couldn’t believe it, but I just had to get on with it."

He continued: “I just focused, and I couldn’t stop thinking about today and how I was going to play, and I think it turned out alright. But I should have got my goal.

“I think I just need to keep playing well at academy level and any chance I have an opportunity to train with the first team I need to impress the head coach and show him what I can do, so he can believe in me like he did tonight.”

Four years on from that game and Saka's interview has been doing the rounds on social media, with many praising his maturity after the full-time whistle.

One fan commented: "We’re so blessed to have him," while another wrote: "The kid is such a humble legend. I wish him the best no matter what."

A third added: "What a great player and person man. Little did we know he’d be our starboy."

Thoughts on Saka's impact since that day in 2018?
