Arsenal are tracking Brazilian star Danilo as part of a January transfer splurge, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta’s side have enjoyed a blistering start to the Premier League season.
They sit top of the league, two points ahead of champions Manchester City, having lost just one of their opening 11 games and rather strangely, the Gunners do not seem destined to implode.

To sustain their table-topping run of form the Mirror are reporting that Arteta wants to add at least two more players to his squad to ease the workload of key players Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka.
In turn, Arsenal have allegedly revived their interest in 21-year-old Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, who the Gunners enquired about on deadline day.
At the time Arsenal were willing to pay £22million for the Brazilian, but Palmeiras were not interested in selling the player while they were still involved in the Copa Libertadores.

The north London club may test Palmeiras’ resolve once more in January with a £26million bid, according to The Sun.
Danilo’s Palmeiras teammate, Dudu, believes the youngster is ready to make a move to the Premier League.
Speaking to ESPN, Duda said: “For me, he’s a crack who needs to play in the Premier League.
“He’s a boy who gives his life, who plays, defends.

“He’s a player who helps, who marks, who arrives in the attack, who builds plays for the offensive midfielders, who helps in defending.
“I think for me, he is one of the complete players, defensive midfielders, that we have in Brazilian football. We’re lucky that we have him in our team.”

Arsenal are also allegedly in the market for another winger, and are currently keeping tabs on Shakhtar Donetsk’s young Ukrainian international Mykhaylo Mudryk, who has lit up this season’s Champions League.
Meanwhile, Villarreal’s exciting 20-year-old Yeremy, is a player they are also said to be keen on.
