Fabrizio Romano has dropped a fresh update on Reiss Nelson's contract situation following his heroic performance against Bournemouth.
Nelson took centre-stage at the Emirates on Saturday, scoring the winning goal in the dying embers of stoppage time to ensure a 3-2 victory over Bournemouth.
The 23-year-old was subbed on in the 70th minute in what turned out to be one of the most inspiring substitutions in the Gunners' history, as they took one step closer to the title.

Nelson had an immediate impact, setting up Ben White to level the scores seconds after his introduction.
Just as it looked as though Arsenal would have to settle for a draw, Nelson completed the comeback in the most dramatic of circumstances.
The ball fell to the winger's feet on the edge of the area, who shifted it on to his left foot before smashing an effort past Neto and into the corner, sending the Emirates into frenzy.

Speaking after the game, Nelson stated: "It was amazing. Happy to win, happy to get the 3 points. I've been here all my life. Arsenal means a lot to me."
Gunners fans' elation may be tinged with fear over the fact Nelson has just three months remaining on his contract, with his current deal set to expire in June.

The player hasn't featured in the Premier League since November, with Mikel Arteta prioritising other first-team players' contract extensions.

Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Granit Xhaka are among the players Arteta is reportedly keen to tie down to new deals.
Nelson may have to be added to that list, and with increasing urgency following his heroics against Bournemouth.
However, Arsenal fans will be relieved to hear that the winger is keen to stay at his boyhood club.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Unbelievable game, unbelievable win for Arsenal.

"His [Reiss Nelson] future will be decided soon as he’s out of contract in June — and he’d love to stay."
Nelson previously expressed his desire to stay in north London in December. He told football.london: "Of course [I want to stay]. I've been here since I was eight, and Arsenal is all I know. I'm only a couple of minutes from the stadium, all my family is there. So of course, I'd love to stay.
"I'm 23 now, so I've been here a long time, and I'm Arsenal through and through. So to be playing, even in games just like this [friendlies], I'm delighted.
"Of course, injuries are just a minor setback. But of course, I just look towards the future and hopefully I can play many more years at the club."
