Arsenal fans left stunned as final home game tickets are being re-sold for more than €28,000

Arsenal fans left stunned as final home game tickets are being re-sold for more than €28,000

Arsenal are in pole position to clinch the Premier League title

Tickets for Arsenal’s final Premier League home match at the Emirates Stadium are being sold for more than €28,000, leaving fans shocked.

Mikel Arteta’s men are currently in pole position to clinch their first league title since the 03/04 season.

At the moment, they are eight points clear of reigning champions Manchester City at the top of the table.

With fans getting excited about the prospect of their team winning the title, everyone is searching for tickets to their last home match.

If the Gunners do win the league, the trophy presentation will take place during their last home match, which is against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As the demand for tickets grows, the prices have also increased drastically.

According to a tweet by EuroFoot, tickets are currently being re-sold for an eye-watering price of €28,409.

Whilst some other regular tickets are going for more than £1,000.

Arsenal fans were left shocked as they reacted on social media.

One said: “This is criminal.”

Another tweeted: “Can’t be real lol.”

A third fan added: “Imagine ppl buy it now and then they don't win the title.”

Someone else wrote: “Those “fans” should be banned.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “The system is cooked.”

SPORTbible has reached out to Arsenal for comment.

Recently, Arteta spoke about adopting similar tactics to his now closest rival, Pep Guardiola.

He said: “It started when I was in Barcelona, we used to play a 3-4-3 diamond and one of the full-backs used to play there.

“But Pep did it at Bayern for the first time with Phillip Lahm and then that was developed at City with many different ways of doing it with different players.

“So that is the great thing, that you can take all the time things from other sports, other coaches to make yourself better and that curiosity is necessary to evolve and be better.”

Who will win the Premier League? Only time will tell.
