Alejandro Garnacho's representatives are reportedly holding out for more money after Manchester United offered the highly-rated Argentine a ÂŁ20,000-a-week contract.
The 18-year-old forward, who has made 17 appearances under Erik ten Hag, continues to impress in his breakthrough season at Old Trafford, scoring three goals from out wide.
As a result of his fine form, United are keen to tie him down to a new contract. In fact, an offer of ÂŁ20,000-a-week is already on the table, according to the Independent.

But there's an issue – his representatives believe that offer isn't enough to reflect his growing status in the team.
Garnacho, who has 18 months left on his deal, is currently on ÂŁ7,000-a-week.
United, meanwhile, are said to be taking a 'measured approach' to negotiations and will reward the teenager in the long term if his performances continue.

If he manages to replicate previous performances, then Garnacho will almost certainly land a bigger deal.
After making his first senior start for United against Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League in October, he scored his first senior goal for the club against Real Sociedad in November.
The teenager netted his first Premier League goal later that month – a dramatic 93rd-minute winner against Fulham – and has featured on numerous occasions since.

A number of European giants are monitoring the player's ongoing contract situation at United, including Real Madrid and Juventus.
Chelsea are also keen and reportedly made an approach for Garnacho ahead of the January transfer window.
The Blues contacted the player's representatives in an attempt to take him to the capital, according to transfer expert Simon Phillips. But United are hopeful of agreeing a deal and positive discussions are ongoing.
Ten Hag is certainly a fan. After he scored against Real Sociedad in the Europa League, the Dutch manager said Garnacho is developing into a "reliable" attacker.

"We are of course, disappointed we didn't succeed by scoring with a two-goal difference," he said. "But we win, a clean sheet, a positive we have extra options in the frontline with Garnacho.
"He's developing very well. I hope he can keep that attitude like now. When he is reliable, you see he is a threat, he can create, he can give final passes and he can score goals, so it's a good process."
Thoughts on Garnacho's future? Should he sign a new deal with United?
