Fans have worked out the reasoning behind Lewis Hamilton's latest tattoo as the new Ferrari driver embarks on his first week at Maranello.
Hamilton and Ferrari broke the internet on Monday when the seven-time F1 world champion was photographed alongside a Ferrari F40 in front of Enzo Ferrari's white house to announce his arrival.
The 40-year-old will be hoping the Scuderia will help him get back to the front of the grid after just two race wins since the infamous 2021 season which saw Max Verstappen win his first title.

Hamilton has made some major changes ahead of the 2025 season, with the return of his personal assistant now confirmed after the pair initially parted ways in 2023.
The already 'inked-out' star has also added another tattoo over the winter, with '11:11' now tatted on Hamilton's neck.
The meaning behind Hamilton's new ink
'MRK' who is the tattoo artist behind Hamilton's new design confirmed the new ink is dedicated to his Mum, commenting on Instagram: "I'm so excited for this new chapter bro @lewishamilton. For him Mum."

Hamilton's mother, Carmen Larbalestier, was born on the 11th of November making the tattoo a direct tribute to her birthday.
However, fans have taken it a step further and worked out an alternative meaning for the '11:11' design.
Hamilton has made no secret of his spirituality, and as a devoted Christian, the Ferrari man already has a number of tattoos with religious and spiritual connotations.

Eagle-eyes fans online have noticed the meaning behind '11:11' when you look at it as angel numbers.
According to Cosmopolitan, the angel number 11:11 is a powerful indicator that: “You are in alignment with the divine guidance and support of your angels. It signifies that you are on the right path and that the universe is conspiring in your favour. This number serves as a reminder to trust your intuition and have faith in the journey ahead.”
With Hamilton starting a new chapter in Maranello this year, it isn't implausible to think the new ink could have a double meaning.
