Darts fans can't get enough of a 'goosebumps' moment Nathan Aspinall produced at the Premier League darts.

Manchester played host to night 10 of the BetMGM Premier League on Thursday, with 11,000 fans packing into the AO Arena to watch the best darts players around take to the oche.

The night began with Nathan Aspinall facing Rob Cross in the quarter-finals, and Mancunian star Aspinall marked his homecoming with a 6-3 win and a fifth consecutive victory over Cross.

The other quarter-finals see Luke Littler take on Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith face table-topper Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price go up against Peter Wright.

As impressive as Aspinall's victory against Cross was, it was his entrance and walk up to the oche before a single dart had been thrown that fans couldn't get enough of.

As his name was announced to the crowd, Aspinall walked out to Killers anthem Mr Brightside, as he always does.

The crowd, keen to see their fellow Mancunian do well, belted out the tune in response, with Aspinall conducting them as he walked up to the stage.

Plenty of fans took to X - formerly Twitter - to talk about the spine-tingling moment, with some arguing that Aspinall's choice of walk-out song is the best around, bar none.

"Nathan Aspinall has the best walk on going, don't even try telling me different. Goosebumps," one fan tweeted.

Another said: "What a walk on from The Asp," while one fan commented: "Goosebumps every time. Best walk on bar none."

Others said, "Without doubt the best walk on music going !! What an atmosphere," and "Love it. I reckon his song choice gives him an extra 5%!"

One darts follower admitted that Aspinall's walk on is the "highlight of each week," while another praised the atmosphere generated by the Manchester crowd by tweeting: "Insane. Some city."
