David Beckham has long been the darling of English football, even in his retirement.
If you can conveniently forget that kick out in the '98 World Cup, he's a real good guy without a blemish on his record.
Being a family man and local lad, Becks can often be seen around east London doing every-day things despite having homes in every far flung corner of the Earth he's kicked a football in and more.
However, despite the fame and the wealth, he's a down to Earth sort of guy. So down to Earth in fact, he was recently snapped giving a homeless bloke a beer and a burger following a family meal in London.

Golden Balls was at Tommi's Burger Joint enjoying the £8.90 lunch deal when he took the food and drink outside to the homeless guy to enjoy.

One onlooker said in The Sun: "David came out with the burger in his hand and the bottle of beer with his pocket. When he handed the burger to the homeless man, the guy's face just lit up. It was such a lovely gesture.
"The pair had a laugh and a joke and then David went back to his family."
Now, I know for a fact there'll be people out there saying how much more Becks could do. And they're right. He's an extremely rich man who earns more in an hour than most of us do in a year and could probably buy this guy a flat and it'd barely burn a hole in his wallet.

However, it's his money that he's earned himself and he has every right to spend it any way he wishes. He's made a nice gesture that many people might not have. Let's just leave it at that and celebrate a small bit of good in this world.
