A new report has revealed that Brazilian club Internacional are interested in signing Nahuel Bustos on loan next season.
One of the biggest merits of the City Football Group is that their vast network of clubs provide a home to a number of players.
While certain sceptics simply perceive this as the beginning of a vicious cycle that involves one loan stint after another, Issa Kabore’s time at ESTAC Troyes disproves that theory.
The 22-year old was granted the opportunity of plying his trade in the Ligue 1, as he emerged as one of the standout right-backs in the division last season.

The Burkinabe defender’s performances caught the attention of several sides in Europe, with Southampton eyeing his addition as well Nottingham Forest going as far as to launch a £17 million bid to sign him.
Another example of a player that has been given the platform to shine by the CFG is Nahuel Bustos.
Since signing for City in 2020, the Argentine striker has been on loan at Girona.
The Córdoba-born striker took a major leap from playing his football for local side Talleres to operating in the Segunda Division.
The 24-year old particularly shone during the previous campaign as well, with 11 goals and two assists in all competitions to his name.
However, the prospect of a first-team place at the Etihad Stadium is next to impossible for the talented marksman.
Considering the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, as well as Liam Delap being one of the academy’s most gifted frontmen, another loan spell is most likely on the cards for Bustos.
Keeping that in mind, it has been revealed that a club are targeting his signature ahead of the 2022/23 season.
As per a report by Globo Esporte, as translated and relayed by Sport Witness, Internacional are interested in signing Nahuel Bustos.

It has been claimed that the Sky Blues loanee has been one of the names on the Brazilian club’s transfer wish list since the turn of the year.
As a result, the club are aiming to make his signing come to fruition.
However, it is mentioned that Internacional internally feel that striking a deal is a challenge, as they have to convince City of letting the player join their side on loan.
As things stand, Bustos recently returned from his two-year spell at Girona to East Manchester.
This is not the first instance in which a South American side have been keen on signing him, as River Plate’s interest was previously mooted.
While Nahuel Bustos may not be in Manchester City’s plans for the time being, the club will think twice before approving a potential loan deal as they are known to be very selective about this process.
