Manchester City submit 21-man squad to Premier League for 2022/23 season

Premier League champions Manchester City have finalised and submitted a 21-man squad to the league for the 2022/23 season.

Premier League champions Manchester City have finalised and submitted a 21-man senior squad to the league for the now ongoing 2022/23 season, it has been confirmed.

The Premier League have released a complete document containing the finalised squad for all 20 of their teams this season.

For Manchester City, that squad contains six new summer signings, including Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, and Kalvin Phillips.

The official sheet also highlights which of Manchester City's 21-man squad are officially 'homegrown', while also listing their official under-21 players made up of contracted athletes and scholars.

As per the Premier League, here is Manchester City's official 21-man squad:

Goalkeepers: Ederson, Stefan Ortega Moreno, Scott Carson.

Defenders: Kyle Walker, Joao Cancelo, John Stones, Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, Aymeric Laporte, Sergio Gomez.

Midfielders: Rodri, Kalvin Phillips, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva.

Forwards: Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish.
