So last night was a little dramatic wasn't it? Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor coming face-to-face and squaring off against each other for the first time. But how much will it cost you to see the fight?

The two fighters kicked off their world tour last night in LA and it gave us plenty to talk about and it's far from over where the headlines are concerned.

Last night's meeting was the first of four in four nights with Toronto coming tonight followed by New York and London in the next few days.

What exactly we can expect is anyone's guess, last night we got barbs about clothes, money, weight of gloves and that was even before Floyd Snr threatened to knock McGregor out himself in a press conference.

It makes the idea of being at the fight in Las Vegas on August 26th even more tantalising but it's going to cost you a hell of a lot as a member of team Mayweather revealed last night.

Speaking in a press conference one of Mayweather's management said:

"Tickets will go on sale Monday July 24th. And the prices will range from $500, to $1500, $25,00, $3500, $5000, $7500 and $10,000"

So looking at my bank account I might be able to afford the $500 for the cheapest tickets if I don't eat anything other than rice for a month and do nothing fun.

That's before one has even figured in the price of a hotel and flights, I think I can officially rule out me heading to the Nevada desert at the end of next month.

Of course there won't be many tickets available to the $500 price so you'll have to be quick on the draw in order to get your hands on them.

More likely is spending $10,000 for a seat at the 20,000 seater at the T-Mobile Arena.

Mayweather's bout with Pacquiao was the last super fight to cost American PPV fans a lot of money. Image: PA

Those in America can expect to pay $100 just for buying the fight on pay-per-view, just like Mayweather's last big money fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Fortunately in Britain we're unlikely to have to spend as much to be able to watch the fight.

Will you be buying the fight?
