Deontay Wilder has called out Mike Tyson for the lack of public praise he gives to him. Wilder claims that Tyson heaps praise onto him in private, but won't in public.

The Bronze Bomber has finally set the task of scheduling his rematch with Tyson Fury. However, Deontay Wilder seems to be calling out Mike Tyson as well, due to the lack of public praise Iron Mike gives him.

When Wilder spoke to TMZ, he said that he was tired of Mike Tyson refusing to praise him in public:

"I had some people sitting by Mike (at the fight). Mike gave me some praises, which I wish he would have said in public. Behind closed doors is cute and s**t but out in public?! Just express yourself!"

"I don't know what the deal is with the old generation, new generation. Like, the old is the past, bro - let it go!"

Wilder has also claimed to hear that Tyson said it was lot more strenuous for himself to knock his opponents out, alluding to the fact that he didn't have the raw power Wilder has.

"I had people telling me Mike was saying 'when I knocked guys out, I had to use combinations but with Wilder man that guy can hit'...I am the hardest-hitting puncher in boxing history, period."

Wilder is set to face Tyson Fury in their highly-anticipated rematch on February 22, 2020. The fight is supposedly set to take place at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
