Dana White and Oscar De La Hoya used to be such good friends but since the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fight announcement, their relationship has turned into a bitter feud.

And after both combatants weighed in for their mega-fight, the Golden Boy promoter issued another dig towards the bout.

De La Hoya has remained firm that the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match-up is bad for the sport, and he continued that sentiment last night posting the following message:

Needless to say, the 'Badlfather' responded in the most savage way.

Showtime executive vice president and general manager Stephen Espinoza also chimed in.

During negotiations for the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight, De La Hoya actually offered his prized fighter 'Canelo' to the UFC lightweight champion should the deal break down with the returning boxer.

De La Hoya isn't the only promoter lambasting Mayweather vs. McGregor. Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has also thrown shade towards the cross-code bout.

And just like De La Hoya, Arum thinks the event is a joke while referencing NBA star LeBron James and heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.

"LeBron James to me is the best athlete of our time. You put LeBron James in the ring with Anthony Joshua, it's a joke," he told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Again, just like De La Hoya, Arum offered his main attraction to McGregor. He was prepared to offer him Manny Pacquiao before the August 26th fight was confirmed.

Arum's outburst didn't go down well with White.

"This is our hometown paper, and then all the interviews are with Bob Arum. And this guy, this senile, quote comparing LeBron James to Conor? Conor McGregor is a fighter. He can fight. Stuff like that bums me out when I'm reading that," he said via Bloody Elbow.

While the talking for Mayweather and McGregor has stopped, the beef between promoters rages on.
