Dana White Shares Details Of Meeting With Eddie Hearn About Anthony Joshua
Dana White has revealed that he can foresee himself working with Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua as he plans to launch Zuffa Boxing.
The UFC president is set to foray into the world of boxing and ahead of the promotion getting underway, he's hinted at a potential link-up with Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn as well as Joshua.
White was linked with signing Joshua to his stable in a sensational £385 million deal, but the Brit turned down his advances by inking a new promotional deal with Matchroom.
But 'The Baldfather' admits he likes Hearn and sees himself working with the 40-year-old and his prized asset.
"I said some things about Anthony Joshua that I liked him, he's a good-looking kid, he's got great energy, loved his fight with Klitschko," White explained.
"I wasn't a big fan of the Klitschko brothers those guys would put you to sleep by the second round.
"So, when I saw that fight I thought that was a great fight and I think Eddie Hearn took me the wrong way like I was going to take a run at his guy and all that stuff.
"So I think we kind of got off on the wrong foot. But then I met him, sat down, talked face-to-face and had a great meeting.
"I like Eddie Hearn, I definitely think that me and Eddie Hearn could work together."
White and Hearn met earlier this year and the latter is a "massive" fan of the UFC boss.
"I'm a massive Dana White fan. I don't want to sound like a fanboy but I have massive respect for what the UFC have done," he said.
