Brief retirement.

So much for that retirement, eh.

It's been confirmed by Top Rank chairman and Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum that the 37-year-old will return to action on November 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada per ESPN. Arum had hoped to book the prestigious MGM Grand Garden Arena, but failed as the Thomas & Mack Center will play host to his 67th professional fight.

The veteran promoter also says the Philippines senate will be in recess in the weeks leading up to the fight, with 'Pacman' working by day and training by night before then.

The Filipino sensation was last in the ring beating Timothy Bradley in their trilogy bout subsequently retiring, though his legendary trainer Freddie Roach claimed he certainly had a few more fights left in him.

His fight will be aired on HBO pay-per-view, but it's too early to determine which UK broadcaster will pick the fight up. As for opponents, the welterweight division is red hot with no shortage of foes on offer; Keith Thurman, Jessie Vargas, Kell Brook, Amir Khan, heck even a Floyd Mayweather rematch has been muted.

There's also the Terrence Crawford vs. Viktor Postol 140lbs unification this weekend, a in-house fight appears to be the ideal proposal.

Let us know in the comments section on who you want to see him share a ring with.
