Eddie Hearn Officially Unveils Matchroom Fight Camp, Announces Main Events For Each Show

A blockbuster heavyweight clash between Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin will headline the final Matchroom Fight Camp show in August.

Eddie Hearn has announced an exciting line-up of fights for August which will be staged at the Matchroom headquarters in Brentwood.

Matchroom Boxing will resume on August 1 with a card headlined by Sam Eggington vs. Ted Cheeseman.

The promotion's second event will take place on August 7 with a women's world title bout between Terri Harper and Natasha Jonas to headline the card.

Felix Cash vs. Jason Welborn will meet on August 14 with Whyte vs. Povetkin to round off Matchroom Boxing's Fight Camp series on August 22.

Speaking about Fight Camp, Sky Sports head of boxing development Adam Smith said: "Fight Camp ends with fireworks as Dillian Whyte risks his World Title ambitions against the big-hitting Alexander Povetkin, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"Katie Taylor can cement her status as one of the sport's finest fighters when she returns to action on another fantastic bill. We're back with a red-hot line-up of live boxing!"
