David Haye is the latest name to have his say on the fantasy match-up between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

Haye actually thinks the fight could come to fruition based on the money the mega fight would generate. The Londoner was present at the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts, where he weighed in on the ongoing speculated fight between Mayweather vs McGregor.

"Floyd 'Money' Mayweather is all about the money and he won't get in the ring for less than $100million."

The retired boxer has stated his price, a cross-over fight between the two combative disciplines would no doubt garner plenty of attention and money.

The Irishman's popularity is reminiscent of Ricky Hatton, where an army of fans ascend to Las Vegas. Haye believes this only makes the fight bigger with a guaranteed lucrative gate.

"One thing you can guarantee with McGregor is that he will bring his big fan base and people will want to see it as well. These are two of the biggest names in world sport let alone boxing and MMA."

The current UFC featherweight champion's last three fights have taken place at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, proving to be a top seller having grossed under $30million dollars in tickets sales alone.

"Mayweather is the biggest sports grossing name ever and if you chuck that in with one of the biggest personalities in combat sport, Conor McGregor, you are going to get yourself a mega fight. No matter the rules I think that fight could gross half a billion for a fight like that. When you are talking things like that with silly numbers - these things seem to happen. In America, they say 'if it makes dollars then it makes sense'."

UFC pay-per-view figures have sky rocketed since the emergence of McGregor as a PPV star, having sold an estimated 3 million units in his last three fights.

As for the 'The Hayemaker', who returned from his hiatus earlier in the year by defeating Marc de Mori inside a round to record another knockout victory. The former unified-cruiserweight champion of the world will return to action on Saturday night when he takes on the unbeaten Arnold "The Cobra" Gjergjaj.
