David Haye has made a generous donation to former professional boxer Nick Blackwell.
Blackwell was placed into induced coma after suffering a bleed on his skull following his grueling British title fight with Chris Eubank Jr back in March. The boxing community rallied together to support the 25-year-old with Adam Etches setting up a crowdfunding page, while Haye has donated an incredible £100,000.
Haye had pledged 10% of tickets sales from his recent bout against Arnold Gjergjaj to fund Blackwell's life post-retirement. A gesture which the stricken boxer is extremely thankful for;

"It's amazing, he's been so good to me. I didn't know him before at all, but he's texting me every other day, seeing how I am. He even 'facetimed' me from Miami. I'm so lucky, it's given me a real start and I'm really grateful to him. It's more than I got paid for any fight except the last one, against Eubank."
The former unified cruiserweight world champion has even helped him in looking for new career avenues;
"He's offered to help me find investments, looked into help-to-buy schemes and that, and recommended mortgage advisors."
Nice touch, David.
