The 2-0 boxer, accompanied with his large entourage, stormed a room where Askren and his wife were waiting.

He threw something in his direction then tried to intimate him while mocking his social media antics.

Unfazed by his stunt, Askren laughed it off and hilariously joked: "That's definitely over the 6 person bubble!"

The confrontation between Paul and Askren got fight fans talking online.

One Twitter user wrote: "Paul walking around with a deep crew to feel big, while Ben content being alone... I wonder who will feel more comfortable alone in the ring."

A second tweeted: "This is like a very poor mans version of Conor McGregor. Dudes wants to be like him and just comes off fake and really douchey."

A third added: "The entire thing made Ben look like a clown - Paul is so unlikeable that it makes Ben look like a saint in comparison."

Paul and Askren taunted each other during the press conference before being involved in a minor scuffle.
