In 2011, it was a different story.

Anthony Joshua defends his world heavyweight titles in front of 80,000 people at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. He's at the top of the boxing game, though seven years ago, it was a very, very different picture.

Joshua, 28, not only puts his IBF, WBA (super) and IBO belts on the line against Joseph Parker, but also competes for his opponents WBO strap.

(Joshua's response to UFC champion Stipe Miocic's call-out is brilliant:)

He continues his ascent to heavyweight domination, and ahead of his 21st professional fight, Joshua posted a picture reminiscing the time he carried out community service.

Before finding his calling in the sport of boxing, Joshua was a troubled youth who would often get in trouble.

A conviction for being in possession of drugs resulted in him doing community service.

And the Watford-native shared an image of himself back in 2011 donning a high-vis jacket while chopping logs with an axe, accompanied with the words: "Still I Rise."

He went onto represent his country in the Olympics, bagging a gold medal at the London Summer Games in 2012, before turning professional where he's claimed world titles.

From chopping logs, to chopping down opponents becoming a sporting superstar.

In 2012, then secretary of the North Finchley Allotment Society, Gill Saunders, recalled what Joshua was like.

"We remember him very fondly. We knew him as Josh though.

"He was extremely popular and charming. He was a good steady worker and kept his head down, which is unusual on the scheme, because we get a lot of difficult, reluctant people.

"He never picked on anyone or bullied any of the other people on the program, which can happen.

Meanwhile, Joshua tipped the scales at 17 st & 4 lbs. 12 lbs less than his last bout, and lightest weight since 2014.
