Mike Tyson has revealed that Muhammad Ali's loss to Larry Holmes in 1980 made a teenage 'Iron Mike' cry.

Tyson recently sat down with rapper Snoop Dogg on his GGN News and the conversation came on to 'The Greatest'.

The 53-year-old has the upmost respect for Ali and he explained how he felt in the aftermath of the loss.

"I was watching the fight and everyone in the studio stands up and goes 'Ali, Ali' cos' we all supported him.

"But then we had to watch Holmes beat the s**t outta him," to which Snoop replies "Is that because he was old?"

Tyson responds:

"Yeah, then we all start crying cos Ali got f**ked up."

Snoop Dogg then asks if that's why Tyson 'beat the dog**it' out of Holmes when they fought in 1988 and he replied:

"Yeah, we were crying man."

The Ali discussion begins at 24:50 in the video.

He then discusses his own fight with Holmes in and admits that he dominated the heavyweight title fight.

"Yeah I did do Larry dirty but Larry was a good fighter," he begins.

"Larry he was older, he was in the same situation Ali was, he was 38-years-old against me and Ali was 39-years-old against him.

"He was a 38-year-old fighting the me, the new guy who was 21."

Tyson then explains that Holmes managed 'to do a number' on Ali in their fight and it left a huge impact on him.

"We were all crying and it was just a bad moment, I don't even wanna think about it f**k."

Tyson has always been vocal in his belief that Ali is the greatest boxer of all time and doubled down on the claim.

Snoop asks who he thinks is the greatest fighter of all time and Tyson immediately replies 'Ali' before a quiet moment of reflection.

It's not the first time that Tyson has emotionally discussed his love for 'The People's Champion'.

Who do you think is the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time?
