Marcos Maidana got revenge on Adrien Broner when he 'air humped' him during their thrilling world title clash in 2013.

Broner vs. Maidana served as the main-event for the WBA world welterweight title back in December 2013.

The brash American, who was unbeaten at the time, was making the first defence of his world title. But he failed to defend his belt as he suffered his first professional defeat to the hands of the Argentine slugger.

Broner opened the fight in extremely confident fashion as he taunted Maidana by 'air humping' him against the ropes.

However, Broner's crude gesture only fired up Maidana who proceeded to punish his opponent. 'El Chino' sent Broner tumbling into the ropes in the second round before flooring him in the eighth round.

And Broner was given a taste of his own medicine as Maidana 'air humped' in the penultimate round as he cruised to a lop-sided points victory in Texas.

Maidana's beatdown of Broner sent the online boxing community wild.

"Broner was beaten, bruised, humiliated, knocked down, dry humped and combed all in a single night.... Lol," one YouTube user wrote.

A second wrote: "Maidana's air hump was hilarious."

A third added: "That has to be hands down the funniest moments I've ever seen in boxing."

Speaking after defeating Broner, Maidana said: "I had to show a lot of heart to win this fight. I did what I had to do to win.

"I had a responsibility to the public to win and shut him up."

Broner, on the other hand, actually showed some humility after losing his first professional fight.

"I'm OK. I'm still the three-time world champion in three different weight classes. Maidana was just the better man, but we fought a hell of a fight," he said.

"I'm still going to live like we won the fight. I'm still going to party."
