Josh Warrington believes there's no way he's leaving the First Direct Arena on Saturday night without the IBF World Featherweight belt back around his waist, live only on DAZN.
Warrington vacated the belt back in January 2021, but things didn't go to plan with two frustrating fights against Mauricio Lara.
Kiko Martinez stands in his way, and the pair have history at the venue with Warrington winning via a majority decision back in 2017 to retain the WBC international title.
While Warrington is wary of the Spaniard, the Leeds boxer has no doubt that he'll be victorious in front of a packed out arena in his hometown come Saturday night.
He said: "I have been to First Direct Arena more than Tom Jones! My fans are so loyal, and I appreciate that.
"They will see me become world champion once again.
"I am grateful to Kiko for coming to Leeds. I must have upset him as he demanded this fight.
"We were meant to be sparring partners for a future fight. He's confident - but I am ready for what he will bring.
"We have shared hard rounds, but my stock has risen since - I have got better and better."
Martinez comes into the fight on the back of a sixth-round knock-out win over Kid Galahad in Sheffield to win the IBF featherweight title, becoming a two-weight world champion in the process.
While many were shocked at that victory, the 36-year-old is keen to prove on Saturday that it wasn't just a case of luck.
He said: "I am very confident. I said I would beat Galahad and I will beat Warrington.
"He [Warrington] is too confident - he needs to know he's fighting Kiko Martinez.
"Warrington is a good boxer - he has a lot of credibility.
"I want to show that beating Galahad was not just down to luck. I am confident I will knock him out. When I say something, I do it."
