OK, we have some exciting news we've been dying to share.
Today, SPORTbible Australia would like to formally announce our official partnership with the Parramatta Eels NRLW team.
This sponsorship means we become the first independent social publisher to partner with an Australian professional women's sporting team.
"We are thrilled to have a globally renowned platform in SPORTbible Australia partner with our NRLW program," Parramatta Eels' chief executive officer Jim Sarantinos said.
"SPORTbible Australia's vision for enhancing the profile of our NRLW team shows their commitment to growing the women's game which will inspire young female athletes to pursue their dreams."
Yes, that means you'll see our flashy logo on the likes of Kennedy Cherrington and Tiana Penitani's backs as they take to the field for the Eels' inaugural NRLW season.
But for us and the wider Parramatta family, this is more than just some branding on a shiny new jersey.
The landmark partnership, which will continue until the end of April 2023, will utilise content integration across digital and social platforms throughout the seasons to really shine a spotlight on the women's game.
At LADbible Group, we want to tell stories that encourage people to LAUGH, THINK and ACT - and our upcoming content involving the Eels stars is no different.
We're keen to capture the players both on the footy field and away from it, showcasing a side of them that wouldn't otherwise be seen by rugby league die-hards.
And with a reach of 13 million people here in Australia and a global reach of over 100 million, we hope to bring new eyeballs to the women's game and be a major part of its continued growth Down Under.
"We're excited to help connect more Australian sports fans with the Parramatta Eels NRLW team, Women's Rugby League and women's sports and athletes more broadly through a mixture of content, storytelling and brand building," LADbible APAC's general manager Joseph Summers said.
"We're proud to be sponsoring a team that is laser-focused on change, growth and people both on and off the field.
"The promotion and development of female elite sports within Australia is an important strategic direction for SPORTbible Australia over the next two years, and this ground-breaking partnership is the first important piece of that puzzle."
