If there's three things that go hand-in-hand it's parmys, pints and the footy.
And more specifically, State of Origin footy.
With Game 2 between New South Wales and Queensland just around the corner, one Facebook group is urging fans to indulge in an Aussie pre-game tradition: Having a parmy and beer while watching the game.

Simple, right?
Well, the only thing they ask is that you share the moment of magic on their page.
The group, simply called "parmis and pints", wants to hear all about Australia's best feeds by getting people to rate and score their favourite parmy and pint from around town - and yes, a schooner or middy will suffice if your local doesn't offer pints.

The official Facebook page reads: "Whether you're having a Parma or Parmy... plug the watering hole you're drinking at and drop your plated chicken soaked in cheese and the rest. Eat slow, drink up... hoorah legends."
And the rules are fairly straight forward.
"No steaks, pies, salads (unless on top of parmy) or anything unrelated to the holy grail of pub foods. Must have beer as a date for your plate."
There has already been plenty of entries.

So if you're out at the pub tonight watching New South Wales flog Queensland then treat yourself to a parmy and a pint but make sure to post your review on the group's Facebook page.
And who knows, you might find some other decent parmy and pint recommendations from other local pubs that you can test out for Game 3.
