Patrick Mahomes' Fiancee Slammed By Fans For Spraying Champagne On Spectators

"Fans drenched in champagne possibly leading to frost bite or even hypothermia... you need to take responsibility for your actions."

Patrick Mahomes' fiancee has been slated online for spraying Kansas City Chiefs fans with champagne during the team's wild celebrations.

Star quarterback Mahomes lead the Chiefs to a dramatic 42-36 victory over the Buffalo Bills in AFC's Divisional Round.

Kansas City kicked a field goal a final seconds of the game before wrapping it up in overtime thanks to a game-winning touchdown from Travis Kelce thanks to a dime from Mahomes himself.

The come-from-behind victory sent the supporters inside Arrowhead Stadium into a complete and utter frenzy.

But it seems the actions of one person didn't sit too well with fans.

In a video posted on her social media, Mahomes' partner Brittany Matthews can be seen celebrating by spraying champagne on a bunch of fans from her VIP booth.

By the looks of things, the people below her even cheers when she pops the bottle.

At the time, the Chiefs spectators themselves didn't seem too phased by the light sprinkle - although the same couldn't be said for those watching the video from the comfort of their own homes.

One bloke commented on her clip: "The ramifications of your actions: innocent fans drenched in cheap champagne possibly leading to frost bite or even hypothermia, children with alcohol in their system. You need to take responsibility for your actions and issue a public apology."

While another added: "You probably should delete this video, there's nothing cool about spraying champagne on people who don't even know it's coming and it's cold... As a part owner of a major sports team, you should probably behave as such, not a good look. Especially kids getting sprayed with alcohol."

As one concluded: "Spraying champagne all over normal people. So sad. They have actual jobs."

But unlike the majority of internet sleuths aiming to target Matthews, there was a select few people who threw their support behind her.

One woman tweeted: "I'm so damn sick of the hate you get. They always have something to freaking say smh. People clearly didn't see your Instagram where you said that fans literally requested it. Keep being you, Britt!! Don't listen to the haters. Love you, your energy, and your love for the game!"Featured Image Credit: Instagram/brittanylynne
