Turkish Football Team Unveil New Signing 'Rafael' With Ninja Turtles-Inspired Promo

Turkish Football Team Unveil New Signing 'Rafael' With Ninja Turtles-Inspired Promo

To the visionary genius behind this hilarious video, we salute you.

Istanbul Basaksehir have announced the signing of Rafael by releasing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-inspired clip.

The Turkish outfit signed the 30-year-old from Lyon on a free transfer but instead of announcing the move by posting a standard picture of him holding up the team's jersey, someone from the club's marketing or social team thought of a method far more impressive.

Someone behind the scenes has put two and two together and concluded that there was only one logical way of unveiling the former Manchester United defender to the passionate fans.

So, here it is.

In a bizarre video posted to social media, Rafael is seen wearing a red eye mask and neck garment - a clear nod to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character Raphael, of course.

The short promo makes for interesting viewing and the fact that it is so cheaply done makes it all the more special.
