Confirmed Teams: Dinamo Zagreb vs Chelsea | Champions League

Chelsea face Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and the confirmed team news is in from Croatia.

Chelsea face Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League and the confirmed team news is in from Stadion Maksimir.

Thomas Tuchel's side begin their European campaign on Tuesday night in Croatia against Dinamo Zagreb in the first Group E fixture of the Champions League group stages.

Following the draw in Turkey last month, Chelsea will be keen to kick the group stages off with a win against Zagreb, with AC Milan and FC Salzburg also in their group.

A 23-man squad travelled to Croatia which saw Thiago Silva left at home due to be given time to rest and recover by Tuchel, with N'Golo Kante still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

“We decided with Thiago that he will have a break from the travelling and the stress after playing every minute so far in very intense matches," admitted Tuchel ahead of the game.

"It was the moment to give him a break instead of putting him on the bench and having the travel issues. He takes care of his recovery.

“We had the opportunity to take everyone who was in training and available to Zagreb to do our last training."

Here is the confirmed team news from the Croatia as Chelsea take on Dinamo Zagreb.
