Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri is one step closer to leaving this summer after contracts have been signed between the Blues and West Ham, according to reports.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan in France with Lyon and despite impressing he has remained out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
He was already linked with a move away this summer but following the signing of Marc Cucurella from Brighton his transfer became all the more inevitable.

The Spanish defender arrived for £63 million and has quickly impressed Thomas Tuchel in the opening games of the season.
Emerson has yet to be included in a matchday squad for the Blues, with the preferred options at left-wing back being Cucurella and Ben Chilwell.
There is an abundance of options in this position for the west London side but Marcos Alonso also looks set to be departing this window, with Barcelona close to completing a move.
Regarding Emerson though, a deal between Chelsea and West Ham has been developing.

The clubs are reported to have agreed a transfer fee of £13 million and an extra £2 million in add-ons.
On Monday, the Italian had the first part of his medical, and the second part of it has been completed on Tuesday morning.
David Moyes' side are after a left-back following the departure of Arthur Masuaku on loan to Super Lig side Besiktas.
While Aaron Cresswell remains at the east London outfit, Emerson will likely become the first choice for the Hammers.
The latest update on the proposed move has been reported by Fabrizio Romano.

He wrote: "Contracts signed between Chelsea and West Ham for Emerson Palmieri. Deal completed, official statement expected later today as medical has been done too."
It was an extended transfer saga, but it seemingly has reached its end.
West Ham had previously withdrawn from negotiations because of the demands Emerson had made, but an agreement has been reached.
The Blues transfer business will not end here this summer, despite adding six new signings, more are being eyed up.

The £15 million that they are expected to receive from this deal will likely be put towards the addition of an attacker or defender.
Latest reports suggest Chelsea and Barcelona are close to agreeing a £22.8 million move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but they also are confident of completing the signing of Anthony Gordon.
There is also optimism that Leicester City's Wesley Fofana can be acquired this window, despite an expected hefty fee.
